PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP) WITH 24 HOUR RESIDENTIAL LIVING

What Is A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)?

BWR Partial Hospitalization Program for Addiction TreatmentPartial Hospitalization Program (PHP) treatment is Behavioral Wellness and Recovery of Pennsylvania’s highest level of care, and is an excellent option for people seeking help for drug and alcohol addiction. The term PHP refers to the patient being hospitalized during part of the day. In our drug and alcohol Partial Hospitalization Program, patients spend several hours a day at the treatment center while living in an off-site and well-structured residential, sober, and monitored housing environment. A partial hospitalization program is the ideal choice for many people because they benefit from living outside of the treatment facility, while maintaining a high level of accountability and are still undergoing intensive drug and alcohol treatment. Additionally, the sober residences allow the patient to develop living skills, social skills, and allow the patient to experience triggers that they can process at the treatment center. So, although PHP treatment is not the same as residential drug and alcohol treatment, each patient is monitored 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, either by Behavioral Wellness and Recovery staff or by the staff at the sober residences of the patient’s choice.
